Looking for timely, accessible recipes and nutrition information? Join community nutrition educator Bridgette Bostic, R.D.N., for Healthy Bites with Bridgette, a new online cooking class taking place from 5 to 6 p.m. each Wednesday evening.
“The idea is that people can cook along with me from their home, learn some cooking tips and get ‘bites’ of nutrition information along the way,” explains Bostic.

Discussion of healthy and filling breakfast ideas and what a healthy, well-balanced breakfast looks like

Discussion of the importance of eating a more Mediterranean diet and the importance of omega-3s
Wednesday, May 27
Recipe: Easy Homemade Tomato Sauce with Ground Turkey and Whole Grain Pasta
Discussion of reducing red meat and saturated fat in the diet and why pasta and other carbs are part of a healthy diet
Wednesday, June 3
Recipe: Marinated Pineapple-Sriracha Tofu (or Chicken Breast) with Quinoa and Sauteed Greens
Discussion of the healthy benefits of whole soy foods and common misconceptions
