It’s hard to believe that it’s almost been a year since COVID-19 came into our lives. To say that it has changed the world would be an understatement. These past 12 months have been a roller coaster ride; we’ve faced highs and lows and unknowns. It has profoundly changed the way we work, learn and live.
But we also have shown our extraordinary ability to innovate, care and thrive in these history-making circumstances.
Audrey and Harold Trumpower’s love for Carroll County lives on through their family foundation.
Despite creating one of the largest family foundations in Carroll County, Harold Glen and Audrey G. Benson Trumpower were never ones to flaunt their wealth.
Carroll Hospital was awarded an ‘A’ in the fall 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, a national distinction recognizing the hospital for achievements in providing safe, high quality and affordable care.
Casey Austin loved life.
The 42-year-old was a kid at heart, the one who could always be found at gatherings, playing on the floor or out in the backyard with the kids. “He loved life until he got too sick,” remembers his wife, Kristin Austin.
In a year like no other, it’s only fitting that the Carroll Hospital Auxiliary host its signature event in a way like no other.
