Each year, Carroll Hospital hosts a seasonal farmers market to help the community access healthy, locally sourced produce and products. Our market’s farmers and vendors come from the many corners of Carroll County to share the fruits of their labor.
This year, the weekly market kicks off on Thursday, July 2 and concludes Thursday, September 17 on the Carroll Hospital campus. Hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We’ll be offering a selection of fresh fruits, sweet treats, vegetables, herbs and much more! And, new for 2020, representatives from the U.S. Census will be available to answer any concerns or questions that community members may have regarding their census submission.
We’ve also implemented new policies for all vendors and shoppers to ensure that every effort is made to keep the event safe and efficient. Vendors and shoppers must wear face masks at the outdoor market site and practice social distancing. All of our vendors are required to check- in for a health screening before the beginning of each market. During the screening, vendors will answer a series of questions and have their temperatures taken. After the screening, each vendor will be given a sticker to wear during the market to reassure our shoppers that every precaution has been taken.
We hope to see you at the market!
